ME: Lord, I feel empty sometimes, almost depleted, like I'm weak, like I'm alone, like I'm a failure, like I'm lost and I can't hear Your voice, and like I'm wasting time and talents, spinning wheels in the wilderness of Discontent. Am I doing what You called me to do, what you created me to do? Have I lost my way, my passion, my purpose?
JESUS: You're not alone; I AM with you. Always. And I love you with an everlasting love, higher than any mountain you climb and lower than any valley you cross. Nothing in all creation will ever separate you from My love, because I abide in you, and you abide in Me. You're Mine--My beloved--and I AM your strength and your courage, and I order your steps and make straight your path, when you trust in Me with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, when you cast all your cares upon Me, when You surrender everything to Me, letting Me be the Lord of all in your life.
You're not lost; you're found, and you have a purpose and a destiny through Me, for I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. I delight in you with gladness, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made in My image, according to My likeness. In you I see the fruit of My Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, kindness, and self-control; in you I see the reflection, resemblance, and revelation of Me.
You are loved; you have a purpose; and you're not alone, so don't give up, don't despair, and don't give in. I have not forgotten you. I see you, and I hear you, even in your wilderness. Every hour. Every day. I'm the still, small voice encouraging you, whispering in your ear, 'This is the way; walk in it.' I'm the consuming fire within you, the whirling wind around you, and the guiding Spirit that dwells within, filling you, strengthening you, perfecting you, equipping you, empowering you, teaching and directing you.
I AM your passion, and I AM LOVE, so LOVE lives in you, and LOVE abides in you. Always.
And when you get discouraged and feel like you're wasting time, remember this truth: NOTHING is too hard for Me. With Me, ALL things are possible, and in Me, nothing is lost. Just like I redeemed you, I can redeem time, because all things work together for good to those who love GOD and are the called according to HIS purpose.
