Zephaniah 3:17: The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
THE LORD is a warrior; the LORD is His name, and He fights for us, defends us, and protects us, from adversaries and dangers seen and unseen. He is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in time of trouble. He is our sun and our shield; He is the light of our salvation, the shield of our faith. He is GOD with us and GOD for us, and He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is our helper, our savior, our comforter, our advocate, our defender, our intercessor, our LORD of Lords and our KING of kings.
GOD loves us, and He’s with us, in the trenches, in the storms, in the trials, the valleys, and the deserts—in every wilderness in our lives. He’s with us in the floods, in the flames, in the hurricanes and the tornadoes, in the hailstorms, the mudslides, the tsunamis, the avalanches, and freezing snow, and His hand upholds us, covers us, carries us, and brings us safely home, into His Presence.
His is strength and courage, His is power and might, His is grace and mercy, His is honor and valor, His is truth and wisdom, goodness and compassion, faithfulness and love, and we are His people, called by His name; we are His children created, conceived, and adopted into His Family—the First Family—and we have divine rights and privileges, as sons and daughters, princes and princesses—GOD's Royals and Kingdom kids.
GOD never slumbers; He never sleeps, but He watches over us and encamps His angels around us, for He knows the plans He has for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future, so He draws us, saves us, redeems us, forgives us, leads us, guides us, builds us, restores us, corrects us, convicts us, and transforms us through HOLY SPIRIT, changing us more into His image--JESUS'--and He loved us so much He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. He loved us so much He redeemed us, saved us, and reconciled with us through His Son, JESUS. He loved us so much He filled us, empowered us, and sealed with His HOLY SPIRIT until the day of our redemption.
Nothing is too hard for GOD, but all things are possible, because GOD is not weak but strong. He never gives up or gives in; He always perseveres; He always prevails; He always overcomes, because He is a warrior, the greatest one alive, and He is always the victor, not the victim. And here’s the truth: GOD loves us, and He is our warrior, always ready to fight with us and for us, from this moment and this day until eternity.
And here's the lesson in THE WARRIOR's LOVE: GOD loves us so much He pursues us, even when we run, even when we hide, even when we're lost and confused and not even trying to live right, because He wants to spend more than a lifetime with us; He wants to spend eternity with us, in a place like Heaven—HOME.
