Romans 8:38-39: For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Merciful God and Gracious Father, thank You for Your Holy Word, Your Holy Son, and Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for being good, just, and loving. Thank You for being compassionate and giving. Thank You for neither leaving us nor forsaking us. Thank You for not leaving us comfortless but coming to us.
Please, help us be strong and courageous, and let us not be afraid, but let us trust that no weapon formed against us will prosper, that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from Your love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
As we draw near to You, draw near to us, perfecting, confirming, strengthening, and establishing us, and as we come to You, weary and heavy-laden, bless us and keep us and shine Your face upon us; lift Your countenance upon us and be gracious to us, and give us peace. Be with us and teach us what to say, so our words and the meditations of our hearts are pleasing and acceptable to You. Fight for us, and let us hold our peace.
What the enemy meant for evil against us, You meant for good, so we thank You that all things work together for good to those who love You and are the called according to Your purpose, and we thank You for encamping angels around those who fear You. You are not a man that You should lie, nor are You the son of man that You should repent. Have You said and will You not do? Or have You spoken and will you not make it good? You are Good; You are Just; You are Love. There is none like You, for You are Incomparable and Matchless: the Lord of lords, the King of kings, Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise.
