Nahum 1:7 (NKJV): The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.
GOD LOVES US, and sometimes it is hard to remember or even believe that when trouble comes and a life of hard knocks would leave us wondering whether we were more cursed than blessed. But we should never doubt GOD's love, provision, and protection, nor should we doubt His promises or His Word, for He is not a man that He should lie nor does His Word return unto Him void.
We have HOPE in GOD'sWORD, for it declares that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning, and He knows the plans He has for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us HOPE and a FUTURE, and we may be hard-pressed yet not crushed; perplexed but not in despair; persecuted but not forsaken; struck down but not destroyed, for even in darkness, JESUS is our LIGHT, our WAY, TRUTH, and our LIFE, and when we feel alone in the battles of life, He is with us--GOD IS WITH US--and the HOLY SPIRIT, our COMFORTER, dwells with us, our SEAL and our GUARANTEE that we are His--GOD's.
And when trouble comes like a thief in the night and seems to overwhelm us, when we are disappointed, discouraged, afraid and doubtful, and we are prepared to give up, walk away, or give in to the adversary who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, GOD intercedes, fighting for us and bringing to our remembrance His love, His Son, His Word, His grace, His mercy, His forgiveness and His promises, that there is always HOPE and there is always one WAY of escape through JESUS CHRIST, for He lives in us, and we abide in Him, so no weapon formed against us, including fear, shall prosper and all things, even trouble, will work together for our good because we love GOD and have been called according to His purpose.
So, in our trials and our triumphs, we must remember that GOD IS IN CONTROL, and He is MORE THAN ABLE to use ANYTHING in our lives, good or bad, for HIS PURPOSE, HIS PLAN, and OUR GOOD, for GOD has a plan and a purpose for our lives and He promised us hope and a future; all we have to do is TRUST HIM and surrender everything, including our cares, to Him, and we must BELIEVE and TRUST that WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
And when hard knocks come we must HAVE FAITH and BELIEVE that we will OVERCOME as MORE THAN CONQUERORS through HIM WHO LOVED US; we must believe that we will rise again through HIM--JESUS CHRIST--the ANOINTED ONE--and we must believe that we will be rescued from all hurt and harm; we must believe that we are saved BY GRACE through FAITH IN JESUS; and we must believe that we are victors, not victims, and we will be victorious in every battle against the adversary because we have POWER, AUTHORITY, and DOMINION, and GOD IS WITH US, GOD IS FOR US, and GOD HAS US COVERED, and TODAY is the DAY the LORD has made, and this is not the day nor the hour, the minute nor the second that we give up on life--on JESUS the SON or GOD the FATHER; this is not the day we lose heart or give up hope, for if we must surrender our lives, we should only surrender them to GOD at the altar or on our knees before His throne of grace.
This is the HOPE-WELL of GOD'sWORD from Genesis to Revelation: GOD IS WITH US, GOD IS FOR US, GOD LOVES US, and TROUBLE DOESN'T LAST ALWAYS.
