Ephesians 2:8-10 (NIV): For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
GOD LOVES US, enough to PURSUE US when we're LOST or when we BACKSLIDE or RUN AWAY. HIS LOVE CHASES US; HIS WORD DRAWS US; HIS SON SAVES US, REDEEMS US, FORGIVES US, HEALS US; HIS SPIRIT COMFORTS US, STRENGTHENS US, CHANGES US, TRANSFORMS US, LEADS US; and HIS GRACE FAVORS US, BLESSES US, and CARRIES US all the WAY from SEPARATION to RECONCILIATION, from DEATH TO LIFE, from EARTH to HEAVEN, into GOD's ETERNAL PRESENCE--HOME. And this is GOD'sWORD: GOD loves us, and GOD wants us, for GOD SO LOVED the world that HE GAVE His only begotten SON that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM should not perish but have everlasting life.
