Matthew 22:37-40: Jesus says, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind". This is the first and greatest commandment.
Heavenly Father, Gracious God, thank You for Your grace and mercy, compassion and comfort, provision and protection, forgiveness and love. Create in me a clean heart; renew a steadfast spirit within me. Help me to love You with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my mind. Help me love others, too. Let me not be discouraged; let me not be afraid, but let me be encouraged; let me be empowered through Your Holy Word, Your Holy Son, and Your Holy Spirit. Let my intentions be pure; let my motives be sincere; and let me do all that is pleasing in Your sight. Let my heart psalm praise You, only You. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
