Job 5:17-18: “Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.
LIFE isn’t always easy, and we don’t always walk faithfully with GOD or trust JESUS with all the cares and burdens of our lives. But through everything, the good and the bad, the ups and the downs, the trials and the triumphs, GOD loves us, pursues us, picks us up, carries us, corrects us, changes us, heals us, strengthens us, delivers us, transforms us, rebuilds us, restores us, redeems us, and empowers us.
Why? Because GOD is a warrior, good in search and rescue. He’s GOD WITH US, always loving us, encouraging us, forgiving us, delivering us, and fighting for us on our winding roads of redemption, throughout our long journeys of faith, and everything we need, we can find in the SON of GOD—JESUS—because He is our Redeemer, our Savior, our Advocate, our Counselor, our Healer, our LORD and our KING. He is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, and no one comes to the FATHER except through HIM.
And this is the lesson some of us learn in the WORD of GOD: Sometimes, we have to be GRACEFULLY broken and DIVINELY healed, so we can be used MIGHTILY in CHRIST JESUS by HIM: GOD.
Why? Because by grace we have been saved through faith, and that not of ourselves; it is the gift of GOD, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand that we should walk in them, and GOD, who has begun a good work in us, will complete it until the day of JESUS CHRIST. And this is the truth in GOD's WORD: GOD WORKS OUTSIDE the BOX, and GOD doesn’t always call the qualified, but He always qualifies the people He has called…for UNCOMMON things, GREATER things, EXTRAORDINARY things, SUPERNATURAL things.
So, we should all live our lives LOUD for JESUS, for GOD, OUTSIDE the BOX, doing whatever GOD has called, created, and equipped us to do, all with excellence for the glory and honor of Him—GOD—and we should not always grumble and complain when GOD corrects us, breaks us, and refines us, molding us and making us more in the image of HIM: JESUS. For Job 5:17-18 proclaims, “Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.”
And here’s the PEARL of WISDOM in GOD’s WORD: GOD calls us JUST AS WE ARE, but He never leaves us JUST THE SAME. He changes us and transforms us every time, from the INSIDE OUT, so we can be eternally HIS—completely SOULED-OUT.
