Romans 8:28 (NKJV): And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
GOD LOVES US, through good times and adversity, and He uses every choice, action and circumstance in our lives to accomplish or fulfill His plans and purpose. And as one minister says, "If it's not all good, then God is not done."
GOD is GOOD, GOD is JUST, GOD is LOVE, and GOD knows our situations--our circumstances--whether they are favorable or not, and He assures us that as we TRUST HIM and SURRENDER all to Him, leaning not on our own understanding, He will STRAIGHTEN our paths; He will HELP us, STRENGTHEN us, PROVIDE for us, PROTECT us, LOVE us, COMFORT us, BLESS us, HEAL us, DELIVER us, REDEEM us, FORGIVE us, EDIFY us, EMPOWER us, and GUIDE us. He takes our good and bad in life and uses both for His purpose and our well-being.
So, we are not without hope, even when trials and adversity come. And we are not victims but VICTORS; we are not powerless but POWERFUL, and we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us; we are overcomers through CHRIST JESUS; we are the TEMPLES of GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT, and THROUGH CHRIST, we have been given POWER, AUTHORITY, and DOMINION over the enemy--our soul's adversary.
Even when we are in the storms or in the wilderness, GOD blesses us, letting us know that we are not alone, that He will never leave us or foraske us, for we are hard-pressed on every side but not crushed; we are perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not forsaken, struck down but not destroyed. We are children of GOD, and we have overcome them--our adversaries--because whatever is born of GOD overcomes the world, and this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith. So, we are VICTORIOUS, not defeated; we are SPIRIT-FILLED, not depleted. We are STRONG, not weak; we are COURAGEOUS, not afraid; we are ACTIVE, not passive. We are SAVED and DELIVERED by CHRIST, not condemned and bound to sin. We are healed, not sick. We are GOD's children, no one's orphans.
And this is GOD'sWORD from Genesis to Revelation: GOD LOVES US; GOD IS IN CONTROL; and WITH GOD, ALL THINGS are POSSIBLE, for GOD can and will use anything in our lives, including our mistakes, to strengthen us and draw us closer to Him. What we have to believe then is this: GOD is GOOD, GOD is JUST and GOD is LOVE, and if everything in our lives is not well and does not look good right now, GOD IS NOT DONE.
