Isaiah 52:7: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
WE ARE GOD’s messengers—COURIERS for CHRIST—entrusted with the Good News, the Gospel of the Kingdom, that of the LIVING GOD, that of JESUS CHRIST.
The Bible tells us, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the WORD of GOD, so how can others hear the Good News about the Kingdom, about GOD, about JESUS, without a preacher, a teacher, a courier, a messenger?
Ours are the feet of them who bring good news, who proclaim peace, and bring glad tidings of good things, who proclaim salvation, who say to all, including Zion, “Your GOD reigns!”
Ours are the voices of them who proclaim from the rooftops, from the mountains, in the valleys, in the storms, in the trials, in the flames, in the floods, in seasons good and bad, “GOD isn't dead! He is living! He is risen! GOD lives in us; GOD is with us, and JESUS, the KING of kings, is coming back in all His power, glory, and majesty, not in some distant future but in our generation, in our lifetime...soon.’ But we shouldn't get complacent or lazy. We've got work to do, dreams to reach, lives to change, souls to win, pages and chapters to fill in the books of our lives.
For GOD so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life, and JESUS loved us so much He died for us and rose for us, just to save us, redeem us, heal us, deliver us, and reconcile us to His Father, the SOVEREIGN, ALMIGHTY, LIVING GOD.
On earth, JESUS was GOD’s emissary—His courier—transporting this message: ‘Repent, for Kingdom of heaven is near. Love GOD with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love others as you love yourself.’ He never compromised or deviated from GOD’s plan, His assignment; He never took detours, took liberties with GOD’s WORD, or went His own way, and His delivery never changed, regardless of His audience, the hearers of His WORD. JESUS did what He was called and destined to do—save us, redeem us, cleanse us, reconcile us, draw us back to GOD, and welcome us into the kingdom.
Now, JESUS, GOD, is with us, abiding in us, living in us, dwelling in us through the HOLY SPIRIT. So, we’re not alone, and we’re not worthless or useless. We’re called, chosen, changed, consecrated, created, equipped and empowered for greater things, and we’re sons and daughters, adopted into the First Royal Family—GOD’s.
So, GOD calls us to be uncommon, not ordinary but extraordinary.
GOD calls us to be courageous, not victims but victors.
GOD calls us to be engaged and active, not indifferent and passive.
GOD calls us from our comfort zones to carry crosses, climb mountains, weather storms, walk on water, build bridges, endure trials, conquer adversity, overcome fears, and persevere as more than conquerors in every situation and circumstance, believing and standing on this WORD, that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, that we can do all things through Him who strengthens us, that we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to GOD and not to us, that we may be hard-pressed on every side but we're not crushed, we may be perplexed but we're not in despair, we may be persecuted but we're not forsaken, we may be struck down but we're not destroyed, always carrying in the body the death of JESUS, so that the life of JESUS may also be manifested in our bodies.
He calls us to be emissaries, ambassadors, couriers, messengers, letters of recommendation, epistles of JESUS CHRIST—living Bibles, covered by His Blood, inked with the Spirit of the LIVING GOD.
We are GOD’s couriers—His messengers—transporting the Good News, the Gospel, to every nation around the world, and GOD entrusts us with this message: “GOD is GOOD. GOD is JUST. GOD is LOVE. GOD lives, and GOD is with us. The KINGDOM of GOD has come, and JESUS, the KING of kings and LORD of lords, is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, and no one comes to the Father except through Him, and verily I say to you, wherever the KING is, there is the KINGDOM, and the KING of kings is coming back in all of His glory, power, and majesty…soon.’
