Deuteronomy 20:4 (NIV): For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.
GOD loves us, enough to fight with us and for us. He is our Defender, our Avenger, our Strongtower, and our Protector, and He considers us worth the fight, worthy of every battle. But sometimes He even has to save us from ourselves--our fears, flaws, weaknesses, insecurities, doubts, unbelief, choices and mistakes. He fights because He loves us and sees beyond what we presently see to that person we are destined to become in and through JESUS CHRIST--that apostle, prophet, pastor, teacher, evangelist, soul winner, worshipper, doctor, nurse, judge, missionary, ambassador, leader, or president.
GOD sees us as we are in the spirit, as we are in His Kingdom, as we are in the BODY of CHRIST, as we are as the BRIDE of CHRIST--as He created and planned us to be--sons and daughters, a royal priesthood, princes and princesses, overcomers, more than conquerors, fishers of women and men. He gives us a future and a hope, a purpose and a vision or dream, and He goes with us as we walk by faith, sustaining and helping us, strengthening and encouraging us, instructing and guiding us, defending and empowering us so we reach the appointed place at the appointed time. And He never leaves or forsakes us but prepares us for battle against every adversary with His Spirit, His Word, and His Son, JESUS, and as long as we trust Him, abiding in His love, His Word, and His Presence, we are always victorious; we are always victors, not victims. So the questions then are these: If GOD is our strength and our salvation, whom shall we fear? If GOD is with us and for us, who can be against us? Nothing and no one, for no weapon formed against us shall prosper because GREATER is HE who is in us than he who is in the world.
This is the truth of GOD'sWORD: We're not alone; GOD is WITH US, especially in our battles when we're boxing the adversaries in our lives. And when we box with GOD, we're always victorious, always more than conquerors through Him who loved us, and this is the victory that has overcome them--our adversaries or opponents: OUR FAITH IN HIM: JESUS, GOD.
