Deuteronomy 6:5 (NIV): "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
To be arrested is to be captured, drawn, and secured; to be arrested by GOD is to be captured by GOD's heart, drawn by His Spirit, and secured in His grace, love, mercy, protection, and provision.
And GOD's Son, JESUS, is the great Fisher of souls--those of men, women, and children, who thirst and hunger for Him, who seek a life better than ordinary, a purpose divine and extraordinary. He watches us, in our seasons of triumphs and trials; He catches us when we fall, lifts us when we sink beneath the burdens of the world; then, He reels us in, romancing and capturing our hearts, our souls. He draws us to Himself, and we're at peace, for we know He is our strength, our joy, our protection, our hope, and our salvation. He is the GOD of COMFORT and COMPASSION, GRACE and MERCY, FORGIVENESS and RECONCILIATION, and He gathers the fragments of our lives, pieces us together and redeems us, restores us, and repurposes us, so we won't be alone, we won't be broken, we won't be rejected, we won't be lost but so we will be victors, not victims; sons and daughters, princes and princesses of the KING of KINGS; and more than conquerors through HIM who loved us. And this is all GOD the FATHER asks for when He has us arrested: LOVE, with all our hearts, all our souls, and all our strength.
